Susan and Alan Preston are active members who serve on the Board of Directors.

The Marine Mammal Center

The Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit veterinary research hospital and educational center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of ill and injured marine mammals. They have rescued and treated more than 20,000 animals. In 2015, as part of the Insurance Industries Charitable Foundation (IICF) Week of Giving, PPIB staff volunteered by sorting fish, scrubbing pools and overall cleaning of the facilities.

The Thai Elephant Conservation Center (TECC) was founded in 1993 under Royal Patronage and cares for more than 50 Asian elephants. In addition to being open to the public, the TECC is also known for its pioneering work in forest conservation and cutting-edge research.

SF-Marin Food Bank

In 2011 the San Francisco and Marin organizations merged with the mission to end hunger in the areas served. The organization distributes enough food for 100,000 every day. PPIB staff have volunteered at the Marin center at various times over the years.
