Microblading Insurance

Tailored Coverage Solutions for Microblading Professionals

Why do I need Microblading Insurance?

Running a microblading business comes with inherent risks. Errors or miscommunications can result in lawsuits from unhappy customers. While many companies offer business insurance policies, most do not cover services related to microblading. In fact they often specifically exclude them. Consequently, if a client sues over a procedure, you would be unprotected and responsible for covering the settlement out of your own pocket. Such settlements can be substantial enough to potentially force your business to close permanently.

Yes, they can be. If they are your employees, you should have them covered under your policy and we can protect you from claims that arise from their clientele. The cost of microblading insurance can vary based on several factors. Insurance providers consider these factors when determining the premium for a policy. Here are some key factors that influence the cost of microblading insurance:

  1. Size and scope of business: The size of your business, whether you have a salon/spa or you are an individual can impact the insurance cost. Larger risks with more technicians who offer more services may have higher premiums due to an increased risk and liability associated with more clients coming into the salon/spa.
  2. Type of services being performed: Some services are more invasive than others which create more long term problems if a claim were to arise. Therefore the type of services being performed may impact the insurance cost.
  3. Claims history: Insurance companies consider the claims history of your microblading business when determining the cost of coverage. If you have a history of claims, it may result in higher premiums.
  4. Safety measures and risk management practices: Insurance providers assess the safety measures and risk management practices implemented by your business. Having robust safety protocols, ensuring your employees and you are properly trained for all services being performed and regular maintenance practices can help lower insurance costs by reducing the likelihood of accidents and claims.

Definitely. The general liability policy of the business you rent space from most likely covers their operations only, and clients coming into their business. You are a separate entity since you rent a space from another business. General liability provides peace of mind with coverage for incidents involving your clients.
